There are many classic neon signs on Route 66 and acrossHeartland America. Midwestern states like Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas are often considered part of Heartland America.

The Gay Parita Restored Sinclair Station at Paris Springs owned by Gary Turner. Gary is another of those Mother Road charmers! He welcomed us very warmly, plied us with refreshments and regaled us with stories about the history of the old station and the restoration. One of nature's gentlemen is Gary.
